Join our team of aquarists and bring out your inner marine enthusiast, as you take part in an experience that you certainly won’t forget.

Take a behind-the-scenes tour of the aquarium and dive deep into the wonders of the ocean and discover the mysteries of the deep blue sea. You’ll be joined by a senior aquarist who will share their expert knowledge of the fascinating creatures they care for and the wonderful creatures you’ll meet. These include rays, red-bellied piranha and seahorses.

Get your kitchen skills at the ready because you’ll even be helping to prepare lunch for the fishes and take part in specialist work required to care for the creatures. If that isn’t enough, then you’ll also be given a year’s free membership to Blue Reef.

VIP Behind The Scenes Experience (£40) – Enjoy a chance to find out what goes on behind the scenes at Blue Reef Aquarium Portsmouth. Suitable for groups of up to 5 adults this 2 hour visit includes a private guided tour of the aquarium and the opportunity to assist in some animal feeds.
