Blue Reef Portsmouth is not your average aquarium. On top of an extensive array of sea life, we also provide specialist guided tours, day-out packages, venue hires, and more. Read on to see how we can make your day and your event extra special.
Guided Tours
One of our aquarists will accompany your group on a fun, fishy, fact-packed tour around our breath taking displays to help you identify our creatures, to tell you more about their habitats, and to highlight all their unusual features. There are 3 themes to choose from: Solent Seas, Tropical Treasures, or Freshwater Fun – all of which can be tailored to suit the curriculum.
Language School Tours
More than 25,000 language-school students visit Blue Reef Portsmouth each year. Our guided tour, coupled with an impressive display area, makes for a great day-out activity to accompany any language programme – providing plenty of fun learning opportunities along with some fascinating visual entertainment.
In addition, we also have an onsite café serving up some tasty hot and cold food, and a well-stocked gift shop where you’ll find something for all ages.
Brownies, Cubs, Beavers, Guides & Scouts
We welcome groups from the scouting and guiding movement. We offer packages for Cubs and Beavers to complete their badges, but that’s not all – we can also arrange for your tour to include rockpool encounters, shark workshops, and special goodie bags!
You can spend the entire day with us and enjoy our Beach Club and Splash Play in the summer. If you have any other requirements, be sure to let us know and we’ll do our best to cater to these so that your day with us is as exciting, adventurous and educational as possible.
Evening Tours
